Jack's Flight Club

Premium Deal Alert: 4 May 2022

We're feeling pretty chill-e about this deal :-)

It's definitely a tale of two cities here - Delta/United have come together for a mini price drop on a recent deal from LA (with added dates into Feb next year), whereas this is the first deal SF has seen to SCL for a reeeeeal hot minute!

Remember that the seasons are a little mixed up in Chile, so the peak-summer coverage will land you in the depths of winter. That being said, if you're looking for a snowy paradise (and can handle the cold), you'll probably have this all to yourself in Patagonia

Otherwise, head down when the weather's a little warmer and take a dip at Salar de Pedernales, because that water

How to book it

Step1

We recommend Google Flights to find this deal because it has an easy-to-use calendar tool to browse dates and fares. See an example itinerary by pressing the blue button below.

Select one of the date boxes to expand the calendar view and see fares for each departure date. The fares shown will update if you pick a longer or shorter trip - trying different lengths can reveal more options.

For LAX: the United/Delta fares are cheapest if you book via the airline once you select both flights on Google Flights.

For SFO: the Copa fares are cheapest if you book with an Online Travel Agent in step two.

Step2

To get the lowest Copa fares (listed above), book with an Online Travel Agent (OTA). Skyscanner lists OTAs that are the cheapest for this deal - see an example through the blue button below.

On Skyscanner, enter the itinerary you found in step one and wait for the search to finish loading - it can take 20-30 seconds. Book with the cheapest OTA or the one you like the most.

Note: Airlines do tend to offer more flexibility for flight changes, so if you're at all worried about having to move your booking later down the line we recommend spending a little extra to book directly with the airline.
