Well, that combination certainly wasn’t on our 2023 bingo card. So, in case you were tantalized by the little taste of Tanzania last month, we thought we’d clue you in on a way to get there even cheaper. PLUS a tasty Italian interlude just for good measure.

So here’s the deal, it’s an open-jaw style trip. Basically, this means you’ll first fly to Italy, then hop on a plane to Dar, and finally catch a flight back home to the UK.

You’ll need to book some of your flights separately and through OTAs, but you’ll find more info on that below.

Flights to MXP from BHX are a tad more limited than other departures, so you'll need to get a wiggle on if you're hoping to book.

In case you're wondering how to fill your time in Milan (other than glugging Aperol Spritz), here’s some inspo from our resident local.

P.S. If you plan to hop on those flights to Dar on the same day as you fly into Milan, make sure you're only booking to MXP—not any of Milan’s other airports.
