Looks like Rome is the flavour of the month for these DIY 2-in-1 business class trips — first we had New York, and today, Bangkok!

ICYMI last time around, the savings here come from a ridiculously cheap return trip from Rome to Bangkok, with Oman Air in business class. That means swanky lie-flat seats and all, for under £550/€600 rtn.

In fact, we're labelling this one an error fare, since it's only available with specific online travel agencies on Skyscanner. We've made it all the way through to the payment page and the price is holding, for now, so we wanted to share just in case it actually works!

If you're lucky enough to nab it at that price before it goes up, then you'll need to organise your own way to/from Rome, which we've priced into the total cost of the trip.

2. After booking your trip from Rome to Bangkok, head to Google Flights to book your flights to/from Rome. At the time of sending, these fares are between £/€60-£/€190 rtn.

We recommend leaving at least 12h (or longer if you can) between your arrival in Rome and your flight to Bangkok in case of delays. This way, you guarantee you have enough time to make it to all connections.

Once you find dates at the deal price we listed, get a link to book directly with the airline by selecting the outbound and return flights.
