Well. For starters, dates at the end of October just so happen to cover Ireland's biggest jazz event, the Guinness Jazz Festival. Spanning over several days, the festival attracts some of Jazz's biggest names in the biz: Ella Fitzgerald, Macy Gray and Gregory Porter to name a few. 

Venues across the city host performances, pop-up workshops and parties around the clock. From intimate pubs to grand concert halls, no corner remains untouched by the melody of the sax and flowing pints of Guinness. Beyond the buzz of the city, rent a car to see some of Cork's hard-to-reach wild scenery, like Gougone Barra and the Beara Peninsula.
