You'll touch down in Luxembourg City, the country's capital and main hub. You'll immediately notice that fairytale scenery we mentioned — two rivers wind through town, lined by green gardens in warmer months and sugar-dusted in winter. Those cobblestone paths and arched bridges are perfect for meandering.

After you've spent a day or two wandering and enjoying the cafés in town (French and English are both widely spoken, so Montréalers should feel right at home!) head out to see the countryside. It's castle time 🏰

There's a few castles dotted around Luxembourg, but the main showstopper is Vianden. It's one of the biggest castles of its style in Europe, and it's quite a sight to behold as it crops up out of the mist. There's a reason it made CNN's list of the most beautiful castles in the world.

In the other direction, you'll reach the Moselle region. This verdant valley is shared between Luxembourg and Germany, and its best known for its wine. If the weather's nice, you can also rent a bike and cycle through those rolling green hills.
