There's nothing like a bit of Bahamas to see you through hump day 🌊

While BA's non-stop route is stubbornly stuck in the mid £800s, JetBlue is serving up a little bundle of fares at almost half the price—providing you don't mind a quick JFK stop-over.

And considering these trips fall smack-dab in the middle of the high season, we think we can let it slide.

After you land...

When you think of the Bahamas, you probably picture paddling with pigs or floating among nurse sharks in a far away cay. But hoooold up, you actually don't need to venture that far to immerse yourself in world-class marine life.

In fact, the waters around Nassau are home to the third-largest coral reef in the entire world. And with waters this crystalline, you don't need to dive deep to get a front-row fish-viewing seat.

Our top snorkelling spot is the pristine Cable Beach, just 14 minutes drive west of the city. Above water, it looks like a scene straight off a Bounty wrapper. And below the tides, hides schools of rainbow fish, rays, and even turtles!
