West is best! Well, it is when you're visiting Réunion during the rainy season.

According to advice from locals, the West Coast generally has less rainfall. And it also happens to be well-known for its volcanic hikes, waterfalls, forested valleys and beaches.

Cheap flights to the island are few and far between (before French Bee's fares last month, you hadn't seen Saint-Denis drop in your inbox in over a year). So this is likely your best bet for the next little while, but keep in mind that these trips do fall in cyclone season.
