Woohoo, these low fares are enough to make us fall for Peru!

It's nice to see a biiig surprise price drop for LA along with the lowest we've seen Lima go for D.C. in a long time.

This OTA deal only covers trips in September and October, but lucky for us that's the perfect time to squeeze in a Machu Picchu trek - after the crowds but before the rain.

Plus, there's always the option to do some spooky sightseeing if you happen to go around Halloween :-)

After you land...

Regional flights within Peru are pretty cheap, which means from Lima you've got lots of trips within trips at your fingertips.

Of course, Cusco is the obvious choice, and rightfully so. Along with its access to Machu Picchu, it's also a good place to grab a tour to Apurimac Canyon, where you can see one of the last Incan rope bridges and maybe even catch a glimpse of an enormous Andean condor.

Or you can take a roadtrip to Rainbow Mountain...'nuff said.

For a totally different vibe, grab a flight to picturesque Arequipa and spend some time wandering the Plaza de Armas, a UNESCO World Heritage site with colonial buildings carved from white volcanic rock.
