Best time to visit Japan
If it’s just a cheap flight to Japan you’re looking for, with the chance of seeing some iconic sights and tucking into some delicious food, then honestly, anytime is the best time to visit Japan — especially if you time it right for the airline sales!
But for the nature lovers among you, choose an April–May trip for the chance to experience cherry blossom season in Japan, or an autumn trip to catch those fiery fall leaves. Keep in mind, though, visiting during these peak seasons may make your trip to Japan cost more.
How much is a trip to Japan?
The good news is that we’ve seen lots and lots of cheap flights to Japan pop up recently!
Our best finds lately include: non-stop flights to Japan for €501 return, flights from London to Japan for £361 return, non-stop flights to Tokyo for $436 return — and they even included a free checked bag, too!
It’s a little rarer to see cheap flights to Japan during peak seasons, but we have seen some in the past, like trips during cherry blossom season for $573 return with a checked bag included.
